Shauna Kirschman, born in North Hollywood, CA, began her career in modeling as the face of Johnson & Johnson, appearing on Billboards, Book Covers, Magazines, & Videos. After moving to Florida at an early age, Shauna began training in dance. She trained extensively in many styles; from Ballet to Ballroom and has spent the past two decades teaching and training other dancers in her areas of expertise.
At 16, Shauna joined the pop group FRESH, where she and a group of three others recorded a music album, performed at numerous events small and large, and engaged in promos such as JC Penny's "Back to School" ads and commercials. She has been a back-up dancer for Latin Sensation, Paulina Rubio, and Original Choreographer and Dancer for Latin Pop Artist Sofia Del Carmen. She has appeared in Shakira's Pepsi Commercial and took part in Montana Tucker's first music video as a Dancer, Assistant Choreographer, and a Casting Director.
In 2003, Shauna was the Director of the Performance Level Troupe of Pop Starz Inc. for 4 years, working with some of the best choreographers in the industry, ranging from Glenn Douglas Packard, Shane Sparks, Brice Vick, Chuck Maldonado, Wade Robson, and Laurie Anne Gibson. Shauna was also a finalist during the opening season of SYTYCD.
She continues to instruct and train kids and adults while successfully leading competition teams for the past 15 years with numerous Specialty, High Score, and Choreography awards. Her passion for dance has inspired her students down a path to find their love for the arts and the stage.
